Favorite kitchen item, whats yours?

Last night while i was whipping up a quick dinner before bible study for the family, I thought about how much I LOVE my pampered chef stone and how excited I am that it is FINALLY getting some color.



If you don't know much about the PC stones, the darker they are the BETTER, this happens over time, after many many uses.

I bought my stone a little over a year ago and am seeing some color :)

I thought i would share a picture of what a VERY well used "seasoned" stone should look like. This is my bestie's PC stone. She uses it for EVERYTHING.

In LOVE with my petal pillow

Today I FINALLY made the Petal Pillow I've had on my to-do craft list. I found the tutorial here, its SUPER informative and SUPER easy to do :)


I made my flower a little too big, it all depends on what size circle you start with, so I ended up needing a few more small felt circles then the tutorial suggested.


I'm so happy with how it turned out :)

Now on to the next craft on my list.......

Here it is!

Ive been wanting to start my own craft/mommy blog for some time now.

I kept putting it off but was encouraged by some amazing friends to trek on and get it done :)
Im hoping i will be able to find enough time in my crazy mommy/wife/housekeeper schedule to keep up with posts and new projects.

I enjoy crafting sewing and all that can be created with a glue gun. I usually have a few crafts/projects going at once and love sharing them with friends.
I also hope to share my everyday reality of mommyhood and the joys, struggles and giggles i experience :)
